Leslie Marsh, MSN, RN. CEO of Lexington (Neb.) Regional Health Center. Assuming the CEO position in 2010, Ms. Marsh expanded the health system through the additions of an urgent/primary care clinic and a family medicine clinic. She also implemented a new strategic plan to change the health system’s overall vision, implemented through the Studer principles, which use evidence-based care to improve outcomes. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed: The Nebraska Hospital Association awarded her its Excellence in Service Award in September, and Nebraska Rural Health Association awarded her the Rural Health Achievement Excellence Award in 2015.
