Lee Domanico. CEO of Marin Healthcare District and Marin General Hospital (Greenbrae, Calif.). Mr. Domanico has more than 30 years of healthcare experience leading numerous hospitals and health systems nationwide. As CEO of Marin Healthcare District and Marin General Hospital, he oversaw the hospital’s transition from a large system to a freestanding publicly accountable hospital. He is also responsible for financing and building the hospital’s current governance organization and helped raise $400 million to fund a major recapitalization project. Before joining Marin General, Mr. Domanico served as CEO of Mountain View, Calif.-based El Camino Hospital, where he helped transform the facility into one of the most profitable district hospitals in the state until his departure in 2005.
