Kevin Vermeer. President and CEO of UnityPoint Health (West Des Moines, Iowa). Mr. Vermeer joined UnityPoint Health, then known as Iowa Health System, in 2000 and was promoted from CFO to CEO in January 2016. The health system includes 19 hospitals and 280-plus physician clinics across three states. Mr. Vermeer focuses on community engagement, ensuring the health system is serving the community with the highest quality care. He serves on the American Heart Association Regional Policy Board, University of Nebraska CBA advisory board and the Healthiest State Initiative board.
