R. Guy Hudson, MD. CEO of Swedish Health Services (Seattle). Dr. Hudson, a pediatric urologic surgeon, served as interim CEO of Swedish Health, the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in the Seattle, for nearly five months before being named permanent CEO in June. While interim CEO of the five-hospital health system, Dr. Hudson made strategic hires, built a trusting relationship with the system’s 13,000 providers and engaged physicians. In the future, he plans to position the health system as an innovator and leader in healthcare delivery. Prior to stepping into the interim position, Dr. Hudson served as CMO for Swedish Medical Group and executive director of pediatrics for the entire health system.
