Carl Armato. President and CEO of Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.). Since joining Novant Health in 1998 as vice president of finance and operations for its physician divisions in Charlotte, N.C. and Winston-Salem, N.C., Mr. Armato has worn many hats at the health system, including serving as system COO. Mr. Armato has a long career in both healthcare and finance. A licensed CPA, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and involved in numerous community groups, such as the American Heart Association, Mecklenburg Citizens for Public Education and Friends of Scouting.
