William Rutherford. Executive Vice President and CFO of Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.). Mr. Rutherford has been with for-profit HCA on and off for more than two decades. As CFO, Mr. Rutherford is responsible for the system’s treasury department, office of the controller and government programs, among others. Mr. Rutherford earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Tampa (Fla.) and is a certified public accountant.
