Benjamin Carter
Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO of Trinity Health (Livonia, Mich.)
With 25 years of healthcare finance experience, Mr. Carter has served as CFO of Trinity Health since April 2014. Trinity Health was formed as the result of the merger of Catholic Health East and Trinity Health in May 2013. Before the merger, Mr. Carter served as senior vice president and CFO of Trinity Health. Mr. Carter worked at several other healthcare systems before Trinity. He previously was the executive vice president and COO of Detroit Medical Center, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations during DMC’s financial turnaround. He also worked at Oakwood Healthcare in Dearborn, Mich., for almost 20 years.
