Mr. Rich is the CFO of Steward, one of the largest for-profit hospital operators in the nation. Before becoming CFO, Mr. Rich served as the system’s executive vice president for corporate strategy. In that role, he led the system’s acquisition program, doubling Steward’s size in its first 18 months. Previously, Mr. Rich led a $50 million turnaround in earnings as CFO of Caritas Christi Health Care, which Steward acquired in 2010.
