Nancy Susick, MSN, RN. President of Beaumont Hospital-Troy (Mich.). Ms. Susick became president of 520-bed Beaumont Hospital in 2012. Before that time, she served as vice president, COO and chief nursing officer at the hospital. She has been a registered nurse since 1986 and retired from the United States Navy Reserve in 2012 at the rank of captain after 24 years of service. Ms. Susick was the first U.S. Navy captain and woman to receive the Spirit of America Award, and serves on the boards of the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition and the University of Detroit Mercy.
