Lynn Simon, MD. President of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer of Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.). As president of clinical operations and CMO of Community Health Systems, Dr. Simon oversees all aspects of quality and safety, nursing, case management and medical staff relations. She is also responsible for the health system’s physician practice management, clinical integration, medical informatics, telemedicine initiatives and pharmacy. Before joining CHS in 2010, she was vice president of medical affairs for Louisville, Ky.-based Jewish Hospital. After Jewish Hospital merged with St. Mary’s HeathCare, Dr. Simon served as senior vice president and CMO for the new organization. From 1989 to 2005, Dr. Simon was a practicing neurologist in Louisville.
