Karen Collins, RN. CEO of Lady of the Sea General Hospital (Cut Off, La.). Ms. Collins has worked at Lady of the Sea General Hospital, a critical access facility, since 1982. She rose through the ranks, working in various nursing departments and multiple leadership roles including emergency department director and home health director. She assumed the chief nursing officer role in 1995 and became CEO in 2013. Under her leadership, the hospital was recognized as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital by the National Rural Hospital Association in 2016.
