JoAnn Kunkel. CFO of Sanford Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.). Since taking on the CFO role in 2012, Ms. Kunkel heads the system’s finance, accounting, revenue cycle and related functions. She joined Sanford Health in 1992 and held a variety of executive positions, including the director of finance and CFO for health services. Prior to her tenure at Sanford Health, Ms. Kunkel worked in public accounting, specializing in healthcare. She received an MBA from Vermillion-based University of South Dakota.
