Alan G. Macdonald, President and CEO of Hallmark Health System (Medford, Mass.). Mr. Macdonald was named Hallmark Health System’s executive vice president for strategy and external affairs in 2012. Less than three years later, he was appointed president and CEO of the system. Before joining Hallmark Health, he led the Massachusetts Business Roundtable for 23 years and served as the regional head of public and legislative affairs for Fairfield, Conn.-based General Electric Corporation and Pittsburgh-based Gulf Oil Company.
