Mark Keroack, MD. President and CEO of Baystate Health (Springfield, Mass.). Dr. Keroack, who is trained in internal medicine and infectious diseases, joined Baystate Health from University HealthSystem Consortium in Chicago, where he was senior vice president and CMO. When he joined Baystate, Dr. Keroack was system COO, as well as chief physician executive and president of Baystate Medical Practices. In addition to his role overseeing strategic, financial and operational goings-on at Baystate, Dr. Keroack also oversees its subsidiary health plan, Health New England, as its chair of the board. Not only does Dr. Keroack hold a medical degree, he also earned a master’s degree in public health from BostonUniversity.
