David Keith. President and CEO of McAlester (Okla.) Regional Health Center. Mr. Keith joined this 171-bed public trust hospital in 2011 and has helped steer the hospital to profitability. For instance, he added a new family medicine residency program and aggressively recruited other specialty physicians. He was previously with KernMedicalCenter in Bakersfield, Calif., where he served as COO, and prior to that was assistant administrator at ProvidenceAlaskaMedicalCenter in Anchorage. Mr. Keith has been recognized as Administrator of the Year by the Rural Health Association of Oklahoma.
