Bill Leaver. CEO of UnityPoint Health (West Des Moines, Iowa). Since becoming CEO of the system in January 2008, Mr. Leaver has overseen several changes, including a name change: UnityPoint Health was previously Iowa Health System. Mr. Leaver has more than 35 years of executive healthcare experience. He gained some of that experience at Rock Island, Ill.-based Trinity Regional Health System, an affiliate of UnityPoint, where he was president and CEO. Mr. Leaver is a fellow of the AmericanCollege of Healthcare Executives and a member of several other professional and civic organizations, like the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois and the Iowa Business Council.
