Mark Laney, MD. CEO of Mosaic Life Care (St. Joseph, Mo.). Dr. Laney became president and CEO of Mosaic Life Care in 2009 after spending 20 years at Fort Worth, Texas-based Cook Children’s Health Care System. Under his leadership, Mosaic Life Care received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and was named to the American Hospital Association Hospitals & Health Networks’ Health Care’s Most Wired list multiple times. Prior to joining Mosaic Life Care, Dr. Laney served eight years as president of Fort Worth, Texas-based Cook Children’s Physician Network. A pediatric neurologist by training, Dr. Laney completed his fellowship in pediatric neurology at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and is the former president of the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association.
