Mark Laney, MD. CEO of Mosaic Life Care (St. Joseph, Mo.). Before joining Mosaic Life Care in 2009, Dr. Laney worked at Fort Worth, Texas-based Cook Children’s Health Care System for 20 years. For eight of those years, he served as president of the Cook Children’s Physician Network. In addition, Dr. Laney is the former president of the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association and a past chairman of the St. Joseph Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Missouri Hospital Association. Under Dr. Laney’s leadership, Vice President Joe Biden presented Mosaic Life Care with the 2009 Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award, which recognizes organizations for quality and organizational performance excellence.
