Lisa E. Harris, MD. Medical Director and CEO of Eskenazi Health (Indianapolis). Dr. Harris has served as medical director and CEO of Eskenazi Health, formerly Wishard Health System, since 2004. In this role, she oversees a workforce of roughly 4,470 and one of the largest safety-net heath systems in the nation. Previously, she was chief of medicine of Eskenazi Health and CMO of the primary care division of Indiana University Medical Group, the faculty practice for Indiana University School of Medicine in Bloomington. Dr. Harris is past chair of America’s Essential Hospitals and is medical director and president-elect of the board of directors of the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis.
