Ginger Williams, MD. President and CEO of Oaklawn Hospital (Marshall, Mich.). Although she was trained as an ER physician, Dr. Williams got hooked on healthcare administration early in her career. She served as medical director of Oaklawn Hospital’s emergency department before being named CMO of the hospital in 2007. In 2013, she took on the role of CEO and has since spearheaded a massive fiscal turnaround at Oaklawn Hospital. After grossing a $5 million loss during fiscal year 2014, Dr. Williams helped drive change and leave the hospital with a $1 million margin in fiscal year 2015.
