Donald Kearns, MD. President and CEO of Rady Children’s Hospital (San Diego). Dr. Kearns was appointed to his current role as president and CEO of Rady Children’s Hospital in February 2015. Previously, he served in top executive roles at the hospital, having been named acting president and CMO in November 2013. He became president of the hospital in July 2014. Dr. Kearns practiced pediatric otolaryngology for more than 25 years at Rady Children’s. He has also held a variety of clinical leadership roles, including chairman of the hospital’s department of surgery and surgeon-in-chief of Rady Children’s Specialists of San Diego.
