Alan Guerci, MD. President and CEO of Catholic Health Services (Rockville Centre, N.Y.). Dr. Guerci stepped into his current role as president and CEO of Catholic Health Services in July 2013. Previously, he served as executive vice president of CHS and CEO of CHS’ St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, N.Y., Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y., and St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, N.Y. Additionally, he has been director of the coronary care unit at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and chairman of the Clinical Trials Review Committee of the Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health.
