Jonathan Brown. Vice President and CIO of Mission Health System (Asheville, N.C.). While vice president and CIO of Mission Health, Mr. Brown has implemented a shared EHR across its acute and ambulatory care locations, optimized the EHR for improved caregiver experience and bolstered the system’s security through strategic partnerships. Mr. Brown is also responsible for directing acquisition, budgeting and coordination of IT resources across the health system. Prior to serving in his current role, Mr. Brown spent time as director of IT security at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and was president of the North Carolina Health Information and Communication Alliance.
