Geoffrey Brown. Vice President and CIO of Piedmont Healthcare (Atlanta). Mr. Brown has more than 35 years of experience in IT management, consulting and strategic planning. He became CIO of seven-hospital Piedmont Healthcare in 2014 and led the system’s hospitals to receive Hospital & Health Networks‘ Most Wired designation. He also led an undercover phishing experiment in 2015, which helped establish employee education standards for information security compliance. Throughout his career, Mr. Brown has worked for public, for-profit and nonprofit healthcare organizations, developing a reputation for delivering results by improving technology utilization.
