Mark A. Keroack, MD. President and CEO of Baystate Health (Springfield, Mass.). Prior to his appointment as president and CEO of Baystate Health, Dr. Keroack was senior vice president and CMO for University HealthSystem Consortium in Oak Brook, Ill., where he oversaw clinical and operational programs for a national alliance of 112 academic medical centers and co-created the Faculty Pracitce Solutions Center database and the UHC Patient Safety Net adverse event reporting system. Additionally, he served on the Boston-based University of Massachusetts faculty for 12 years, where he won five annual teaching awards and was the first president of the 700-physician UMass Memorial Medical Group.
