Bill Gorski, MD. President and CEO of SwedishAmerican Health System (Rockford, Ill.). Prior to becoming president and CEO of SwedishAmerican Health System in 2001, Dr. Gorski practiced medicine at SwedishAmerican Hospital for 21 years. During this time, he held a variety of leadership roles, including chair of family medicine, vice president of the hospital medical staff, president of SwedishAmerican Medical Group and CMO for the health system. He is a member of the American College of Physician Executives and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
