The cardiac surgeons at Baystate perform more than 80 percent of all cardiac surgeries in western Massachusetts. With an aim of providing life-saving care to heart attack patients at the earliest moment, Baystate’s Regional Heart Attack Program offers angioplasty up to 25 minutes sooner than the national standard.
