University Hospitals Case Medical Center (Cleveland). UH Case Medical Center is home to the Harrington Heart & Vascular Center. Case’s cardiac intensive care unit has been awarded the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence, and the American Heart Association recognized the hospital with the Get with the Guidelines: Heart Failure Gold Plus Quality Award. The National Cardiovascular Data Registry Action REgsitry GWTG honored two of the health system’s hospitals with the Platinum Performance Award and U.S. News & World report ranked the hospital among the top 50 in the country for cardiology and heart surgery in 2015-16.
