Mayo Clinic Jacksonville (Fla.). Opened in 2008, the 308-bed Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is a part of the Mayo Clinic Health System. The hospital’s Cardiovascular Health Clinic includes 15 physicians focused on cardiology. The hospital also touts five physicians and surgeons who perform heart transplants and provide mechanical circulatory support, as well as three physicians focused on sports cardiology. U.S. News & World Report ranked Mayo Clinic Jacksonville among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for adult cardiology and heart surgery in 2017-18. The Jacksonville campus has seven ongoing clinical trials related to cardiac care.
