Longview (Texas) Regional Medical Center. Longview Regional Medical Center staffs a team of 12 cardiac specialists who performed 6,407 heart procedures in 2016. The hospital serves as one of 20 training centers in the U.S. where physicians can learn the most progressive cardiac catheterization techniques for peripheral artery disease. The hospital is also a member of the Peripheral Artery Disease Coalition, an alliance of healthcare organizations and government agencies that create awareness for early detection and treatment of PAD, and earned the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines Stroke Performance award. In 2017, Truven Health Analytics named Longview Regional Medical Center among the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals.
