In 2014, cardiac surgeons performed 794 operations, 52 percent of which involved a minimally invasive approach. Lankenau Medical Center ranked No. 4 on CareChex’s list of the best hospitals in Pennsylvania for cardiac surgery and earned a spot on Truven Health Analytics’ 2017 list of 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals.
