Sentara Norfolk (Va.) General Hospital
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, including Sentara Heart Hospital, was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery in its 2014-15 rankings. Sentara Heart is one of the largest cardiology programs in Virginia, and the Sentara Heart Valve and Structural Disease Center serves as the valve referral provider for approximately 2.4 million people living in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital has received Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for nursing excellence.
