Arkansas Heart Hospital (Little Rock).
When it was established in 1997, Arkansas Heart Hospital was the first heart hospital in Arkansas and the second in the country. The hospital features six catheterization labs, three heart operating suites and a 24-hour heart emergency center. Additionally, the hospital’s Peripheral Vascular Institute of Arkansas is the first and only in the state entirely dedicated to identifying, treating and managing peripheral vascular disease. Arkansas Heart Hospital also offers a wound care and hyperbaric center for non-healing and difficult wounds and a device clinic to check on and hook up cardiac devices. The hospital was ranked No.1 on CareChex’s Top 50 Hospitals for Cardiac Care in 2014.
