Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center (Boston). Named a Blue Distinction Center for Complex & Rare Cancers in 2008, the Dana-Farber Brigham and Women's Cancer Center is also designated a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. In 2009, the center's stem cell transplant program was one of only three nationwide to consistently outperform the expected one-year survival rate for unrelated donor stem cell treatments, according to the Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research. U.S. News & World Report ranked Brigham and Women's as among the best in the country for cancer care for 2015-16.
