Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children's was ranked No. 2 in the country for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report for 2015-16. The institute is one of the nation's largest referral centers with more 3,500 children and adolescents receiving care per year. The institute's research spans four divisions: experimental hematology and cancer biology, oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplantation and immune deficiency, and a new proton therapy center is currently under construction with the aim to transform how children receive radiotherapy.
