Porter Adventist Hospital (Denver). Porter Adventist Hospital opened the six-operating-room Porter Center for Joint Replacement in 2007, and the center has since grown to accommodate more than 2,000 hip and knee replacements annually. Physicians at the hospital have published more than 700 journal articles and chapters on the knee and hip replacements. Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association recognized Porter Adventist with the Blue Distinction Specialty Care award for its clinical quality for knee and hip replacements, and U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital in the top 50 hospitals for adult orthopedics in 2017-18.
