McGaw Hospital, Loyola University Medical Center is ranked among the top five hospitals in Illinois by U.S. News & World Report for 2016-17 and its stroke center has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Get With the Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for the past eight years. The hospital also caters to women with high-risk pregnancies and critically ill newborns with its Level III perinatal center.
