University Hospital (San Antonio). The National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program designated University Hospital a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence — one of just four in Texas. The hospital features private birthing suites and programs like CenteringPregnancy, which helps expectant mothers prepare for the transition into motherhood. Its Level IV neonatal intensive care unit offers an Angel Eye video stream that enables patients to see and interact with their babies before they can be bedside. U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital in the top 50 for gynecology in 2017-18.
