Valley Medical Center (Renton, Wash.)
The Joint Center at Valley Medical Center was the first dedicated joint replacement center in the Pacific Northwest. It was also one of the first orthopedic programs to adopt computer-assisted surgery technology. VMC ranked among CareChex’s top 100 orthopedic surgery programs for 2014-15. The hospital, a designated Blue Distinction Center for knee and hip replacement and spine surgery, was also awarded by Healthgrades for orthopedic surgery excellence. Additionally, Healthgrades rated VMC’s joint replacement program as rated No. 1 in Washington from 2010-13.
