Howard Young Medical Center (Woodruff, Wis.). Howard Young Medical Center, a member of St. Louis-based Ascension, opened in 1977. The acute care hospital houses 99 beds and began the first phase of a new renovation project in April to remodel and improve its outpatient therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, wound therapy and emergency departments.
