55 employers with the best healthy lifestyle initiatives

Fifty-five U.S. employers committed to improving employee health, efficiency and overall quality of life were selected by the National Business Group on Health for its 2016 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles Awards.

The Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit granted awards based on well-being contributors like job satisfaction, community involvement, financial security, emotional health and social connectedness.

The awards were split up into three categories: Platinum, for executing a workforce well-being plan with demonstrated results; Gold, for companies showing a strong commitment to holistic well-being; and Silver, for companies with emerging well-being plans specializing in physical health.
