Florida-based Memorial Hospital names Bradley Talbert CEO

Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., selected Bradley S. Talbert to serve as its new president and CEO, effective Aug. 1.

Most recently, Mr. Talbert served as CEO of Rock Hill, S.C.-based Piedmont Medical Center. Prior to that, he was CEO of Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, S.C. Equipped with more than 17 years of hospital executive experience, Mr. Talbert also led hospitals in Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Mr. Talbert holds a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

He succeeds Jim O’Loughlin, who retired after serving at the helm of the hospital for five years.
