8 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1.The University of Connecticut named Andrew Agwunobi, MD, executive vice president for health affairs and CEO of Farmington-based UConn Health.

2. John Rossfeld, CEO of The Memorial Hospital at Craig (Colo.), submitted his resignation.

3. CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn., has named Larry Schumacher, MSN, CEO.

4. Mark Newton, president and CEO of Chicago-based Swedish Covenant Hospital, is leaving his post to take on a new role. He will remain CEO until June 30, 2016, and then become vice chairman of the Swedish Covenant Hospital Foundation.

5. Dean Mazzoni was named president and CEO of Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City (Ind.).

6. Steven Altschuler, MD, was named senior vice president of health affairs at the University of Miami and CEO of UHealth-University of Miami Health System.

7. Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Clinics in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., appointed Todd Burch CEO.

8. Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., named LaRay Brown president and CEO, effective in February.
