Concord Hospital Health System taps new VP of operations

Joseph Johnston was named vice president of operations on Aug. 24 for Concord (N.H.) Hospital Health System, according to a news release from the system.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Johnston served as vice president of clinical operations at University of Vermont Health – Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

He began his career in healthcare as a radiation therapist.

In his new role, Mr. Johnston will oversee multiple operational departments across CHHS, including inpatient nutrition services, laboratory services, pharmacy services, radiology, rehabilitation services, respiratory therapy, safety and emergency preparedness, security, and the Payson Center for Cancer Care, the release said.
