17 Latest CEO Moves in Hospitals, Health Systems

The following presidents and CEOs were named to lead hospitals or health systems, or they announced their departures, within the past month.

1. Walter Knox Memorial Hospital in Emmitt, Idaho, appointed Wade Johnson CEO.

2. Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Ala., named David Pryor CEO, effective June 2.

3. Myra Evans, CEO of Community Hospital-Fairfax (Mo.), announced plans to resign, effective July 5.

4. Fort Smith, Ark.-based Sparks Health appointed Jeremy Drinkwitz interim CEO.

5. Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe, Mich., named Jeffery Longbrake president and CEO.

6. Franklin Woods Community Hospital in Johnson City, Tenn., named Lindy White CEO.

7. University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville named Pamela Sutton-Wallace CEO.

8. Maverick County Hospital District in Eagle Pass, Texas, appointed Terri Contreras CEO.

9. Jim Weidner, president and CEO of Cullman (Ala.) Regional Medical Center, left his position.

10. Ray Brownsworth, CEO of Weems Memorial Hospital in Apalachicola, Fla., announced plans to resign, effective July 18.

11. Jamestown (N.D.) Regional Medical Center selected K.C. DeBoer as CEO.

12. HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster, Mass., selected Deborah Weymouth as president and CEO, effective June 16.

13. Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif., named Tim Moran CEO, effective June 23.

14. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., selected Joanne Mather Conroy, MD, as CEO, effective July 10.

15. David Green, CEO of El Centro (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, announced plans to retire in July.

16. University of Miami Hospital appointed David Zambrana, DNP, MBA, RN, as CEO.

17. Memorial Hospital of Salem (N.J.) County selected K. Ryan Jensen as CEO, effective May 19.
