13 recent hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

The following 13 hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves occurred or were announced in the last month, starting with the most recent.

 

1. Rochelle (Ill.) Community Hospital appointed Julia Norem, MSN, as CNO.

2. The new 87-bed St. Luke's hospital, currently under construction on the campus of St. Luke's Nampa (Idaho) Medical Plaza, hired Misty Thomas to serve as CNO.

3. Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado, Kan., chose Paige Hatcher Dodson, MD, as its first CMO.

4. Stephanie Conn, MSN, BSN, RN, was selected to serve as administrator and CNO of Coshocton (Ohio) Regional Medical Center.

5. Lewiston, N.Y.-based Mount St. Mary's Hospital named Jessica Visser, RN, as vice president of patient care services and CNO.

6. Jeanette Ives Erickson, DNP, RN, plans to vacate the post of CNO of Massachusetts General Hospital after a successor is found. She will stay on at the hospital helping with research and international activities.

7. Lake Wales (Fla.) Medical Center named Jennifer Huston, MSN, RN, as CNO.

8. Stephanie Jones, DNP, will serve as CNO of Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Ga.

9. Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network named LaCrystal Gordon, MSN, BSN, as CNO of St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.

10. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. promoted Octavio Diaz, MD, to CMO of the system, effective Dec. 1.

11. Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn (Mich.) selected Paolo Marciano Agostinelli, MD, as CMO.

12. Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health chose Amy D. Wilson, MSN, BSN, as its first-ever system CNO, a post she will take on Jan. 3, 2017.

13. Dennis J. Cunningham, MD, was named CMO of McLaren Macomb in Mount Clemens, Mich.
