11 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO changes were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Columbus (Ga.) Regional Healthcare System named Carla Parker-Hollis president and CEO, effective Feb. 16.

2. Loring Hospital in Sac City, Iowa, named Brian Martin as CEO.

3. Robert J. Krug, MD, was promoted to CEO of Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, part of the Hartford, Conn.-based Saint Francis Care system, also in Hartford.

4. Royal Oak, Mich.-based Beaumont Health announced the appointment of John T. Fox, MBA, as president and CEO, beginning in March.

5. Orlando (Fla.) Health named David W. Strong, MHA, president and CEO after more than a year without a permanent leader.

6. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic named John Presutti, DO, CEO of Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, Ga., effective March 2.

7. Milwaukee-based Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin announced the appointment of Kurt L. Janavitz, MBA, as CEO.

8. Sitka (Alaska) Community Hospital has named CNO Raine Clarke interim CEO following the departure of Jeff Comer.

9. Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, N.C., appointed Mark Benz to serve as the hospital's third CEO in the last 27 months.

10. Dan Drawbaugh, MBA, former CIO of Pittsburgh-based UPMC, was named CEO of The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute, both in Vail, Colo.

11. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's University Hospital in Columbus named Marti Taylor, RN, CEO.
