Orion Health signs expanded agreement with Geisinger-managed health information exchange

Auckland, New Zealand-based healthcare technology company Orion Health signed an expanded agreement with Keystone Health Information Exchange, a patient information exchange network managed by Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System.

The new subscription-based agreement builds on the institutions’ prior arrangement and enables KeyHIE to continue to use Orion Health’s platform.

KeyHIE supports more than five million patient records, with a customer base made up of 19 hospitals, 95 long-term care facilities and more than 250 physician practices.
