Dr. John Warner Hospital in Clinton, Ill., uses the MEDITECH Acute Care System. Now, the hospital will implement MEDITECH's Medical and Practice Management solution.
Here are four things to know.
1. Sisu Healthcare IT Solutions, a consulting company focused on community and rural healthcare organizations, signed a contract with the hospital to guide the implementation of the practice management solution.
2. Sisu began working with Dr. John Warner Hospital in 2013, supporting the hospital's MEDITECH EHR.
3. The consulting company will integrate the new practice management solution into the hospital's EHR, which will allow providers to share medical records and orders between the hospital and its clinic.
4. "So many of the rural health organizations we talk to want to maintain their own autonomy. We're happy to give Dr. John Warner the IT tools and means to remain an independent healthcare provider, dedicated to the health of its community," said Scott Lee, CEO of Sisu.
