MD Anderson Cancer Center goes live on Epic EHR

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, based in Houston, rolled out the Epic EHR on March 4, according to a Houston Business Journal report.

MD Anderson began its search for a new EHR in December 2012. The medical center selected Epic as its vendor in November 2013, according to the report.

The terms of the vendor contract were not released.
